Entering iPizza Customer Addresses
Applies To Entering Customers in iPizza Systems (June 2018 +) Requires Customers Information
Introduction The iPizza system uses a verification system to verify addresses and make sure they are complete with all necessary information.
Required Information
Pickup & Counter Orders – Enter in the customers phone number. The system will then populate the fields with any known current information from the customer’s account. If there is no information because they are a new customer, you will need to enter in their ‘Surname’ at a minimum.
If a customer does not want to provide their phone number or information you can save the customer details with just a ‘Surname’.
Dine In Orders – Select ‘Dine In’ and then the Table number and the number of covers.
Delivery Orders - Enter in the customers phone number. The system will then populate the fields with any known current information from the customer’s account. If there is no information because they are a new customer, you will need to enter in their information. Delivery orders require a Phone Number, a Surname, and an address.
Entering a Customer’s Address
Windows 7 or newer computer - you start typing in their address in the ‘Address’ field. The verification system will provide you with eligible addresses to select from. Just select the one that matches the customers address. If the system cannot verify the address you provided you will need to select ‘Overwrite Data’ and manually fill in the fields.
Windows XP computer - you need to select ‘Overwrite Data’ and manually fill in the fields. The required fields are ‘Number’, ‘Street’, ‘Suburb’, ‘State’, ‘Post Code’.
Address example - 2/34 Enterprise Street Cleveland QLD 4163 –
Unit = 2
Number = 34
Street = Enterprise Street
Suburb = Cleveland
State = QLD
Post Code = 4163
Notes – - Windows XP does not support the address verification. This is because Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft. Windows XP stopped being sold as of June 30th 2008 and Microsoft stopped extended support for it on April 8th 2014. As it is a Windows component, all versions of Internet Explorer for Windows XP also became unsupported.
- You can press ‘Enter’ on the keyboard at any time while on the Customer page to save the order. It will inform you if more information is needed.
- If there is no customer phone number entered into the system, then the customer cannot receive loyalty points.
