iORDER - How to Create a New Online Deal
Log into iPos on the left hand side under the title ‘Administration’ click ‘Products’
In the drop down box at the top of the page, select ‘1.10.X.X – online deals’
At the top right of the page, next to the drop down box, click the page icon for a ‘new deal’
Enter all the relevant Pos information
Ensure the POS combo is set-up to match the POS System, followed by the Online Combo (OLODEAL) on the next line of the script type. Online deals look for a Match on the Online Type, so for example:
OLODEAL = *ANYMEAL,GARLICBREAD
For the above example, “ANYMEAL”, will be added to the deal at full price, while any product that contains the online type “GARLICBREAD” will be added to the deal inclusive of the Deal Price. If there are no products on the order that contain any of the matching online Types, then the customer just needs to add these products from the list.
Please Note:
- Key words such as “ANYMEAL” need to be added to any qualifying product’s online type that need to be included in the deal. Special Characters such as !,@,#,$,% cannot be used as they are used in online ordering.
- When the “*” is used in front of an Online Type, then the product that will be left at FULL price when added to the deal.
