Cloud POS Device Setup

Steps to Setup Cloud POS on devices

1. Go to warehouse URL: *brand*.iposwarehouse.com

Your screen will look as the below image.
The next step is to save this to the Desktop/Home page of the device.

Depending on what device you are using please find below for the next steps:

Apple IOS

2. To save this as an Icon on the HomePage. Press the icon with the arrow in the top right or bottom left depending on device

3. Scroll down until you find “Add to home screen”

4. Press Add to home screen.

5.Set the name of application to iPOS

It should now display on the homescreen.

6. Open the application

7. Press Authorise

8. Enter Login details

9. Enter a descriptive Device Name, such as POS1, BAR, David's iPHONE

10. Select which Site the device belongs to.

11. Press Authorise.

This will return you to the home page with the Device Token embedded in the URL.

Android

2. To save this as an Icon on the HomePage. Press the icon with the 3 vertical dots in the top right hand corner. This will bring up a drop down menu, select add to homescreen

3. Set the Home screen name to your store's name and press add.

4. Press “Add” and this will add it to the home screen.

It should now display on the homescreen.

5. Open the application

7. Press Authorise

8. Enter Login details

9. Enter a descriptive Device Name, such as POS1, BAR, David's iPHONE

10. Select which Site the device belongs to.

11. Press Authorise.

This will return you to the home page with the Device Token embedded in the URL.

Setup complete, the customer should now be able to process orders and access the sites back office.

Desktop IE

2. To save this page in the the top right hand corner of the page press the Icon in the top left hand corner that looks like a Star with an arrow

3. Open a new tab and you'll see it has been added to the favourites bar

4. Open the page

5. Open the application

6. Press Authorise

7. Enter Login details

8. Enter a descriptive Device Name, such as POS1, BAR, David's iPHONE

9. Select which Site the device belongs to.

10. Press Authorise.

This will return you to the home page with the Device Token embedded in the URL.

Setup complete, the customer should now be able to process orders and access the sites back office.

Desktop Chrome

2. To save this page find the icon on the far right hand side of the address bar that looks like a star

3. Click on the star and it will pop up a box

4. Set the name to your store's name

5.Press Done

It should now display on the bookmarks bar.

6. Open the page

7. Press Authorise

8. Enter Login details

9. Enter a descriptive Device Name, such as POS1, BAR, David's iPHONE

10. Select which Site the device belongs to.

11. Press Authorise.

This will return you to the home page with the Device Token embedded in the URL.

Setup complete, the customer should now be able to process orders and access the sites back office.

PC-EFTPOS on CLOUD

You will need to have a Computer running the Windows Operating System, and the PC-EFTPOS software installed on it, then follow the below steps

Open Internet Explorer
Click Tools from Menu Bar – Internet Options
Set Home Page to *Authorised Device link*
OK
Security Tab - Local Intranet - Sites - Advanced
Add *Authorised Device link*

Call Imagatec to turn on integration for the device.

OPTIONAL: Making a Web App with Chrome, Edge and Internet Explorer

Chrome

  1. Open the URL that you are wanting to make into a web app.
  2. Click on the 3 dots at the top right, Go to more tools and click on Create Shortcut

  1. A Create Shortcut? Menu will open here you can name the Shortcut and also tick the Open as window option. Then click Create.

  1. The Tab will close and re-open as a Window. (If it is the only tab in the window it will also open a new tab for the window)
  2. That’s it! A Desktop Icon and a Start menu Icon will be created and you will be able to pin the shortcut to the Task bar.

Edge

  1. Have the page you want to turn into a web app open and click on the 3 dots in the top right.

  1. Go to apps and click on Install this site as an app

  1. A menu will open where you can name the app, after that hit install

  1. After that the Tab will close (If it is the only tab in the window it will also open a new tab for the window). Make sure that Pin to Taskbar and Create a Desktop Shortcut is selected.

Optional. The options to Auto-start on device login can be ticked.

That's it there will be a icon created onto the task bar and the desktop.
