From the Home screen, choose Settings.
Under the “Settings” column on the left, scroll down and select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.
Under “Accounts” section on the right, select “Add Account”.
In the list of email account types, choose “Other”.
Under “MAIL”, select “Add Mail Account”
Enter details as follows:
Name: Your Name
Email: Your email address as provided by Imagatec
Password: Your email account password as provided by Imagatec
Description: Your email address as provided by Imagatec
Click “Next”
Under “INCOMING MAIL SERVER”, enter details as follows:
Host Name: Mail server as provided by Imagatec
User Name: Your email account username as provided by Imagatec
Password: Your email account password as provided by Imagatec
Under “OUTGOING MAIL SERVER”, enter details as follows:
Host Name: Mail server as provided by Imagatec
User Name: Your email account username as provided by Imagatec
Password: Your email account password as provided by Imagatec
Once details have been entered correctly, click “Save” in the top right corner
If the username or password were entered incorrectly, you will receive a pop-up error.
You will need to click “ok” and re-enter the correct details.
If you continue to receive an error about the wrong username/password, please contact Imagatec Helpdesk
Once saved, the email account will be listed under the “ACCOUNTS” section using the description entered in point 6d above.
Select the newly added email account
Under “OUTGOING MAIL SERVER” section, select “SMTP”
Select the name of the outgoing mail server that was set in step 9a above.
Under “OUTGOING MAIL SERVER” change:
“Server Port” to outgoing server (SMTP) port number as per “SERVER PORTS” at top of page
Click “Done” in the top right corner
Click the back button in the top left corner (the blue back arrowhead in front of the email description)
At the bottom, select “Advanced”
Under “DELETED MESSAGES” change the setting for “Remove” to “After one day”
Under “INCOMMING SETTINGS” change:
“Delete from Server” to “Seven Days”
“Server Port” to incoming server (POP3) port number as per “SERVER PORTS” at top of page
Click the back button in the top left corner (the blue back arrowhead in front of the email description)
Click “Done” in the top right corner
