====Introduction====
The SET MENU feature is used to change the price of all the Meals on a seat to the price of the SET MENU. Many stores offer a range of set menus at different price points and with a choice of meals within each price point. This is normally for functions and large groups.

Normally the meals offered on the set menu will be close but not always exactly the same price, and also being a large group a discount is offered to secure the patronage and limiting of the menu. Because of the different prices of the individual meals a fixed discount will not suffice, there was a need to build a special SET MENU feature.

=====How it works=====
Take the order as per normal. Do nothing different. Make sure you place each guest on a separate seat. Split large dockets into groups of 8 seats (so the dockets don’t print too large). This way you can use all of the normal features of the system to get upsell extra and special meal requirements to the kitchen.

Technically the kitchen does not need to know that this is a set menu table. The meal is exactly the same if it was selected straight from the normal menu.

At the end of the meal, and before settlement, open the table and apply the SET MENU feature to each seat. The SET Menu feature zeros all the food on the seat and applies the Set Menu price point. The only exception are EXTRAS, these will stay at full price.

=====Procedure – HOW TO USE SET MENU=====
**BEFORE PRINTING THE BILL**\\
Open the Table\\
Select the first seat and touch the SET MENU button (for the correct price point) (found in Blackboard specials)\\
Repeat for each seat on the table.\\
Touch DONE when you are complete. (to save the changes)\\
Then reopen and print the bill.
